| I sent this into Gammon support:
"I know this is not your job, but I would like to request information on compiling SmaugFUSS under Windows using Cygwin. I am running Windows ME(If that helps any).I read the example for smaug 1.4a but it didn't exactly work for SmaugFUSS. I could not find/figure out how or where the makefile.cygwin is. Typing "make" did nothing.
Thank You.

Can you post this on my forum? I or someone else will be able to help you, and then next time the answer will be there for the next person.
The brief answer is, I think, that the standard Makefile has a line in it that you take out a comment for Cygwin. Have a look at that. "
My question: I get to the point where I need to compile on cygwin.
I made the line #CYGWIN = -DCYGWIN to be CYGWIN = -DCYGWIN.
When I type "make" it says it doesn't recognise the command.
Any ideas? | Top |

| At least you have clarified the error message. Saying it "did nothing" isn't quite true, is it? It gave an error message, and it is always nice to know what those are.
Sounds like you don't have "make" installed. That is an optional part of downloading Cygwin.
Check out this page for more information about installing Cygwin:
