| I've ran the .bat file and it started up like a charm, althougth i could see for the few seconds in the begining that there where some skill errors, but it continued to load and then I could connect to my server. Now after awhile I start makeing stuff, new people join, haveing fun, and its time to shut down the server. I make sure i force everyone to save, saveareas, ect and then do a shutdown. I then try useing the .exe file to load up and it gives me a ton of skill errors and then closes quickly. I can still use the .bat file to start the game up quickly but then i lose all the saved information I've done. So please help me get this .exe working. Its hard controling a mud and not being able to continue from when i last left off.
Thanks for any help

| | Nevermind, I figured out what was wrong. Just for other people, you need to copy everything in the area folder and paste it in the src folder. Then you can open the smaug.exe. | | Top |

| eh, I just downloaded smaugwiz, and it works like a charm, and I can save everything correctly too. However I need some codeing help please. How in the world do I set an object to spawn in a room and every certian amount of time respawn to that room. I don't want duplicates, but I would like so that if someone sac'ed the object it would later come back. Please let me know, thanks. I know if I type ostat on the object I can see the flag in room, but I can't figure out which command to use to specify the room. Please let me know.
Thanks,

| | That is done with a reset, and the reset specifies the maximum number of objects to have in a room. |
