I've been happily using my forum software for some time now and then strangely I noticed email has quit coming. I of course have no clue where to start looking and start blaming. The forum doesn't report any problems, but I don't see that it's sending out any mail either.

Are you not getting notifications for these subjects/topics, or do you think you are subscribed to more than that?

If you are referring to your own copy, which I now guess you are, I would check out that the mail facility is working.

A while ago I had this problem on this site, and I had to email the site admins to get it fixed.

Try doing something that requires mail to yourself, like requesting your own password, you should get some sort of error message then.

Meh, sendmail turned out to be the source of my woes. I don't know how the problem got to be a problem, all I know is that the server guy fixed it.

The perks/hells of a shared host continue to mystify me.
