My problem has to do with adding classes and getting them to work. After finding out about the "last two classes not working" bug I quickly got two classes into my game.

My problem has to do with enabling the class to be useable by ceartin races or not useable in the case of my second class. My first class lets just say Obo has no race options. My second class lets say Babo has all races open. Ok so I find out how to change that in game. I type - setrace human classes Obo

This changed it from disallowed to allowed. Ok it now works. If I create a new character the class can now be human. This is my problem:

If I reboot or shutdown the mud in anyway that change reverts back to what it was. My new class can nolonger be used by any race. So basicly, how do I save the changes? Is there a command to force the mud to save? The change works as long as I don't turn the mud off or reboot.

Another problem has to do with bringing items into the game. Lets say I create a nice sword for my personal use. I give it a vnum and all works. If I save, quit, and then come back it is still on my guy. However, reboot or shutdown the mud and it will be gone next time.

Sorry for the long post, I would just like to make sure everyone knows what I am talking about. Thanks.

This is probably really dumb question but it needs to be asked before we go into the more difficult trouble shooting. Have you tried typeing,

setrace human save
reboot mud now

Thats usually what does it for me.. Let me know if this is the problem.
