| Is there a way of adding new rooms while on as an immortal? I can't seem to find a way of doing it.
Thanks. | Top |

| Read the file olc.txt that came in the doc directory of the SMAUG distribution. That explains about building. |

| I can't get it to work. I assigned myself some space and then changed the filename and name of my area to novice2.are. I made some changes to my area and then saved it with SAVEA and SAVE. Next time I tried to load my area I got this:
<5000hp 4676m 5000mv> loadarea
Log: Shade: loadarea
Loading...
Log: [*****] BUG: load_area: error loading file (can't open)
Log: [*****] BUG: ../building/Shade.are
Planing...
Linking exits...
Done.
shade.are was the name of the original file by the way. I searched my computer and it turns out neither shade.are or novice2.are were on my computer. What am I doing wrong? | Top |

| I found a fix to the problem. All I had to do was create a new folder named "building" (without quotes) and then re-assign myself some space. Hopefully that will help anyone else having trouble.
Does anyone know how you can assign yourself more than one area? | Top |
