| I seem to be needing some help with a crashing issue.
The files I have downloaded are as follows:
smaug1.4a.sce.zip
smaug1.4a.zip
unzipped with winzip v6.3 to :
C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\MUDInfo\smaug1.4a\smaug\system
C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\MUDInfo\smaug1.4a.sce
I altered the IdentTries to read 0 inorder to beable to login with Lordrom. Ok, got that all working, then using zMUD I tried to login another char and it crashed. I am using 2 computers over a network without a firewall and IPs are good. zMUD v6.62 and both comps are win 98. Oh, yeah, here is the message from the bug file:
[*****] BUG: Auth_open: connection refused
[*****] BUG: fread_word: EOF encountered on read.
[*****] BUG: fread_number: EOF encountered on read.
[*****] BUG: fread_to_eol: EOF encountered on read.
[*****] BUG: load_planes: can't open plane file for read.

Thanks in adv,

| Just out of curiosity, try logging in with MUSHclient. Maybe zMUD sends something it doesn't understand. |
