Hey, I'm back. ..prolly nobody remembers me, but oh well.
I'm the guy who was asking all those annoying questions about timers last year :D.

A while ago I worked on a mud that used "qbits" and "abits", if I remember the names correctly, to give the mud a memory of what the player had done - qbits were permanent, and abits were temporary flags, I think.

Anybody know where the snippet for this is? I had it several computers ago, but as I'm pretty sure I got the names messed up, it's rather difficult to find.

Any help'd be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey, that mud that uses that code is AFKmud. There may be others, I don't know, but AFKmud for sure. I don't beleive its a snippet, but you can get the whole code base at http://www.afkmud.net

This is a rather late reply, one in which I actually found it while checking Google stats for the AFKMud page.

Anyway, if its bits you want, bits you shall have :)

The snippet is available right here. It's labeled as Mob Quest Bits.
