I was wondering if it was possible to make it so that an Immortal would be able to toggle on a specific channel so that specific players can use it.

For example, Billy wants to use the Test channel. When he creates a new character, Billy can't use it, and if he tries to use it, it says, "You can't use this until an Immie lets you."

When he asks an Immie, the Immie thens types toggletest or something, it says "Ta-da, you can use Test!" and Billy can then use the Test channel. If he abuses it, the Immie can type toggletest again, "You can't use Test!" and Billy won't be able to use it anymore, but unless that happens or Billy deletes, Billy will be able to use the Test channel from then on.

What sort of coding would this need? I'm not very good at it yet, so if someone maybe knows of a snippet that exists or can just show me how to do it, that would be great.

The <bestow> command would be perfect for that. If the command worked. Which it appears not to. Sorry that's no help, but if anyone knows how to enable <bestow> I would like to know how as well. It could be useful for many things, but I have yet to make it work properly. For example; I <bestow [character] immtalk> and it tells [character], Buck has bestowed on you the following command(s): immtalk. But when [character] tries to use it = huh?. Same thing with other channels -- spells, too. Really frustrating if you ask me; such a good command but not fully implemented.
