Is there a way to make the Exit Description LONG when you enter the room? Instead of just seeing NORTH or SOUTH? This may be an ELEMENTARY question, sorry.

Not without coding something in to change it.

There are exit descriptions. You could have your builders set them (somethuing short would be best) and have it read north/south/east/west and so on if the description is not present. If it is present you could just display the description.

This is probably not a good idea, but it would work for what you want. It would involve a few code changes.
