Is it possible to have other users on the home network to access the mud run on one of the networked computers? If not, I guess I need to find a host then. I'm using Cygwin to run Smaugfuss on my Windows XP system.

Thanks in advance
Madelyn

Yes, as long as the port is not blocked. Have them connect to your outgoing IP.

Well, if you're on a home network, you probably have two IP addresses: one for the local network that goes something like 192.168.xyz.xyz, and one for "the world" that is probably in fact the IP address of your router, assuming that your home network is behind a router.

If you type 'ipconfig /all' you should see your local IP address, which is probably the one you want to use.
