It might have been asked might not have i have looked. But I was wondering how do you really replace the Lordrom character with your own superuser admin and pw. I have messed around with it and gotten nothing.

Well, you could just log on Lordrom, then create your own character, and use Lordrom to advance him to max level. Then delete Lordrom. Or you could open Lordrom's pfile and change the name. Then use the password command to change Lordrom's password.

I read a bit about the maxing the levels, but it seems that the editing is done in the sorce code thing.. Which still has yet to be answered. I downloaded the zip file with the things in it, yet dont know where to extract it at for it to work. And then after that I want to edit levels a bit and looking back a bit i looked got a lil bit of an idea but mainly need to get the extract area correct first.

The pfile of Lordrom can be found in <smaug dir>/players/l/Lordrom.

Open Lordrom in a text editor such as notepad and change the name. Does that answer your question?

Can you be a little more specific? You extracted "the" zip file with the "things" in it? What zip file? What things?

If you look at a zip file in WinZip you will see the directory structure. Depending on which file you have just extracting the whole thing into C:\ should work.

You can max the level of a player by simply editing his player file, you don't need to change the source for that.

If you look at the start of the Lordrom player file, you will see this:

#PLAYER
Version 3
Name Lordrom~
Sex 1
Class 0
Race 0
Languages -1 1
Level 65

Hopefully it is obvious what to change if you want to change a player's name or level.
