| Okay, quick question. I downloaded the win32 smaug server from this site, and I was wondering if there was anyway to edit the initial intro screens without having to get an uncompiled version and edit the source code itself. If I do need to get an uncompiled version, how much of a pain is it going to be for me to edit those initial screens (the main login prompt and the spectral gates authorization thing...)

| The initial prompt is in the help.are file, try searching that. I'm sure this has been answered before, try the SMAUG FAQ on this site.
The spectral gates message I think would be in the spectral gates area. |

It then talks about consulting your guide for various things...then ends...
... And in the time which passed, great tumult and misery was wreaked upon the stronghold of Darkhaven by the dark gods, and much change visited upon the carnage which remained by the gods of light ...
