| I recently started using MUSHClient again (was inactive from MUDs), and I notice that on my A8 Laptop MUSH chugs when getting packets. I thought it might have been the plugins I was writing which relies on GMCP, but creating a brand new world without any plugins still causes the chugging.
I can look at the packet inspector and see the packets come in, and then notice the pause before anything is displayed.
I use MUSH 4.91. It's been extracted to my Dropbox, so admin issues aren't a problem. I'm running Windows 7 on all of my PCs: Two Intel i7's (8G ad 12G memory) and an A8 with 6G memory.
I will try 4.81 shortly to see if it's an upgrade issue.
Edit: I notice the issue with 4.81 also. :( | | Top |

| | I haven't heard any other reports about this. Can you try a different client and see if you still have the same issue? |
