Hi, thanks again for all the great help getting my server to run! I’m mostly just interested in using my Smaug mud for building out areas in hopes RoD will add one of my areas in time. But I also enjoy playing around with the admin side of things. I’d like to get the homebuy action up and running but I’ve not been able to find any help files or info on the web about it. I have the housing.are file and have made some rooms in it. But how do I get it assigned to a player? Ideally so they could use the gohome command. How do I list a home on the auction system? Thanks for any help and insights!

What do you mean "get it up and running"? What happens when you type homebuy?

Perhaps I’ve used the wrong wording. It seemingly works- if I type homebuy list it returns that no houses are currently on the auction. I would like to add some to it.

Ok- so if figured out how to assign a house (or apt) to a char. So that’s working! That’s really all I was interested in accomplishing. All I did was use the house command. I will attempt listing a house on the auction next. Thanks for taking your time to help!
