I face a problem with paralysis in smaugfuss 1.9

When the mob paralyzes the player it stops fighting as long the player is paralyzed. Both stop fighting.

Do you know what may be the problem?

There are a million different copies of smaugfuss in different places. Please provide the link you used to get the one you have.
