| I've written a really simple trigger to capture the prompt.
Prompt includes basic stats, as usual.
H:* M:* E:* W:* B:* [*] (Aetolia, if anyone was wondering)
I'm firing a sipper off this trigger.
It works fine, but it only fires after a second prompt. Meaning, if I get hit, it displays damage done and my new health, but only on the next prompt it fires and sips.
Is there any way to make this fire off the first prompt ?
P.S.: This really isn't such a big problem, cause while bashing, there are prompts enough to fire off, but still... I'm curious ^^ | Top |

| I'm not one to tout my own horn and all that, but I've got a few scripts flying around on their forums. Two particularly deal with these issues, and while I'd frankly love to explain the precise reasons this happens and how to avoid it, I'm too sleepy and I'll just redirect you to those plugins and the 'how to use' stuff that comes with them.

Just install the PromptCleanup and optionally the PromptTweak there to get your prompt trigger to work flawlessly.
Nick, if you want the link removed, let me know and I'll edit this post.

| I don't mind at all having helpful links to other sites.
My only problem is that sometimes the site expires, and then in two years people will wonder what is was that was linked to. Sometimes I make copies of helpful batches of plugins and such, and put them here so they stay alive.
Also, the issue of matching one line too late is covered in http://www.mushclient.com/faq point 11. |

| Worstje, I gather you use a different name on the Aetolia forum?
I was going to make a copy just in case, but it wouldn't let me, presumably because I am not a member.
If you want, I can make a backup copy of any stuff you want distributed free, here. If so, email me a copy (send me a forum mail message to get my email address if you don't have it), send me a link I can use, or I can join the Aetolia forum if necessary. |

| Thank you. Will look into it, and hopefully solve it as well.
Which shouldn't be too hard considering it's all in a plugin... | Top |

| Ooh, that would be awesome. I go by the name of Mygale on the Aetolia forums, but most of my plugins are in need of a bit of brushing up currently. They've thrown in some prompt modifications over the past weeks, and since most of my scripts work on the prompt and the various information it provides, I need to adjust triggers in some cases and see if it all works.
I'll contact you once I've had the chance for that, but right now, I need to focus on my exams a bit first. The horror... | Top |
