Nick Gammon,

I've been into muds, software development, and other nifty techie stuff for more years than I've kept track of. I remember finding MUSHclient way back in the day when it was young and I couldn't afford to send you money for using it.

I just wanted to say that I am extremely grateful for all the incredible work you've put into this excellent program, and I applaud your relentless commitment to serving the mudding community, and all the aspiring coders you're constantly helping.

There are very few commercial programs that I've found to have such great support and commitment from their developers. As far as one man shows go, you're the best.

Thanks for MUSH. Thanks for gammon.com.au, and I don't know how long you've had the domain mushclient.com, but congrats on that, and I hope it sticks around for a long time!

Thanks for the supportive comments. I get fun out of doing it, and I must admit that my memories of MUDs (and text-based adventures) go back a long way!

(What he said!)

A great contribution to the coding and MUDding communities. I'm still impressed by the lengths Nick goes to help coders and non-coders alike.

Yeah..

What blows me away is how many times I've seen people come to the forums and ask non-mushclient/non-mud related questions, or things specific to Lua and nothing else, and STILL receive help from Nick. Heh.

Rock on.

Yeah, it's a great community, and Nick really does an awesome job holding it all together and driving the support. So I'll add my voice for the thanks, for both the forums and the software. :-)

I'll also add my agreement. Nick is fantastic dealing with forumgoers, especially when trying to deal with me and my strange tendencies. ;)
