I think php is popluar language and the javascript can't be used to do something about database

If I may suggest, using Lua is the simplest way of interfacing with MUSHclient because it comes shipped with MUSHclient (you don't have to install anything), and it has direct support for various things, SQLite database access being one, and you can also access ODBC and MySQL databases by downloading the appropriate module.
