| When I save and close down my world it resets the window size. Perhaps that should be fixed? :) |

| Hmm.. I assume you mean the entire client window?
If so it shouldn't do that.. You may be falling pray to one of the unintended 'bugs/features' of windows. Sometimes window size in programs doesn't save properly. If you have had a crash recently or any other abnormal situations then something got mangled some place and the system is restarting the program from internal defaults precisely because the current window size never actually gets saved properly. I believe this is the fault of the system registry in some cases, which is a real good reason to never use it for that sort of thing. lol
Fixing the problem is a bit of a pain and most of the time it just starts working again for no reason. If it is a malfunctioning windows resource then fixing it may be nearly impossible. If the registry, then good luck, but it can be fixed. If something else.... This is one of the more persistantly annoying glitches I have seen and it has happened in 95, 98 and as far as I know still happens in NT, 2000 and ME. :p | Top |

| No, Shadowfyr. I close the window down and open it again and the size resets from my size to the default. Just like that. No crash, no nothing. :) I am on Windows 2000, as I guess that could have a little bit to do with it, since all versions of Windows behave different in some aspects. I installed both 3.21 and 3.22 and attempted this, and whenever I open up a world file and save it down as the new XML format, it loses all information on the window size. Even if I actually press save (I have them to save on close) and then close, it doesn't help at all. Even if I re-open it and attempt to save again, in case it was when it saved the file the first time, no go still. It's a bug. As plain as bugs come. Not my fault this time! *hops with glee* Perhaps someone, Nick I assume, could look this over? |

| Well I haven't a clue as to how or why it happens. Something similar with IE was a result of it writing default window info into the registry and fixing it was a simple matter of deleting the offending key. I have had quite a few programs do this to me now and then and I haven't a clue why other than it sometimes clears itself up. This is one of those wonderful Winbloze problems that no one can seem to duplicate on demand, so it probably won't be fixed in any version any time soon. But it is definitely in 99% of the cases Windows that is at fault in causing it. Is assume that is likely the case here as well. | Top |

| So why does it work with MUSHClient 3.20? *grins evilly* Try to blame that on Windows. |

I admit it. An important variable was not set when doing an XML load. Will be fixed in 3.23. |
