Hitting the `down arrow` to clear the line prompts you..

---------------------------
MUSHclient
---------------------------
Replace your typing of

"asdf"

with

""?
---------------------------
OK Cancel
---------------------------

not once (as expected), but twice.

ie. When I press OK on this dialog, the dialog just re-appears. Pressing OK the second time (on an identical dialog: "

---------------------------
MUSHclient
---------------------------
Replace your typing of

"asdf"

with

""?
---------------------------
OK Cancel
---------------------------

") works fine.

Pressing cancel works fine on both, too.

This happens with "New World.."s (without loading any defaults) so it (probably) isn't a scripting/[plugin]/trigger/.. problem.

MUSH 3.65 on XPsp2.

It also happens with any of my worlds, new or not.

Oh, yeah. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

It happens on current worlds and on new worlds.

Looks like a definite bug. You can set ESC to delete the current input line, or for now Ctrl+A to select all, then delete or just type over it.

Heh, I know this sounds weird, but I use..
End, [hold shift], Home, [hold control as well], Right
, normally starting with an Up to recall the previous line.

This means that, for example:
chat @pulls out her axe.
becomes:
chat
(note the space).

Very useful once you get used to typing the key combination.
